FUNERAL PROCESSION TURNS VIOLENT AFTER NEARLY 20 BIKERS ATTACK FATHER AND SON

SPRING HILL – A funeral procession turned violent this evening,

after witnesses say a man and his son were violently attacked at a local shopping plaza.

According to one of the victims, Richard Johnson, he and his son, Samuel Johnson, just left the Walmart on US-19, when they observed several sport bikers driving recklessly eastbound on County Line Road.

Richard says one of the bikers kicked the side of a small brown car and then began to harass him. At one point, one of the bikers pulled in front of Richard’s truck, causing him to bump the rear tire of the bike. That’s when the bikers began chasing Richard all the way to the Publix Supermarket at Seven Hills, located at Mariner Blvd and County Line Road.

One witness, “Carly” says she saw between 10 and 20 bikes speeding around the parking lot, trying to block the pickup truck from leaving. Another witness, Montana Mills, says he saw several bikers hanging off the truck, “beating the driver senseless.” At one point, Mills says some of the bikers were armed with knives, what appeared to be a pickaxe, and that they were damaging the victim’s truck. Mills talked to at least one of the bikers who told him that Richard tried to run them off the road. But Mills says “that’s no excuse for 16 bikers to attack one man.”

Samuel says he was also punched a few times but that he was uninjured.

Richard suffered a black eye, a cut to the head, and even had scratch marks on his neck from where one of the suspects allegedly tried to strangle him.

All of the bikers fled the scene prior to the arrival of law enforcement but it is believed that they are in the area of Merritt Funeral Home in Brooksville, however, that has not been confirmed.

Richard and Samuel both refused medical treatment.

The incident remains under investigation.

HARLEY DAVIDSON GYMKHANA? CHECK THIS GUY GOES FULL!

When you think about stunts, unless you go back to the days of Evel Knievel, Harley Davidsons aren’t exactly the rides that come to mind for most of us, but don’t tell this guy that. John Shope was working on a project in his shop when he got a text reminding him about a ride he was supposed to lead.

Obviously, John didn’t want to miss out, so he threw on his helmet and jumped on his Harley Bagger and stormed toward his destination in the most enjoyable way possible.

With the torque from his Harley engine available at the twist of his wrist, Shope puts on a show on his way to the ride, popping wheelies, spinning the rear tire and slinging dirt along the way. He hit the road with a nice little drift right outside the shop before hammering down the road with the big V-Twin rumbling into the distance. From there, he takes a shortcut through an aqueduct, rocking up and down the banked sides and blowing through a wall of flame as his passes through.

After traversing the aqueduct, John heads up to a dirt road, slinging a rooster tail of dust high in the air as he drifts along the dusty trail, showing his amazing control of the massive bike. He then heads back to more standard travel thoroughfares, hitting the roadway and letting the Bagger eat, popping a couple of wheelies as the MPH climbs to what looks to be triple digit speeds. Whipping around a corner in the road, John stands the bike on its rear wheel and walks out a long wheel stand before sitting the front end back down.

From there, it’s a short run down the highway to the rendezvous with the rest of the riders, where John joins a gorgeous blonde on a custom Bagger and the whole crew heads out on their ride.

APPARENT HELLS ANGELS MEMBER KILLED IN RIVERSIDE GAS STATION SHOOTING

Officers responded to a call of a shooting at a Shell gas station at 3502 Adams St. in Riverside shortly before 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

A gas station employee, who made the 911 call, said the gunfire took place directly in front of gas pumps, Riverside police said.

According to authorities, five motorcyclists who appeared to be part of the hells angels gang were passing through town and stopped at the gas station to fuel their motorcycles.

Suddenly, a silver four-door sedan pulled up, a passenger got out and started shooting at the group.

Two people were hit. One motorcyclist was grazed by a bullet that hit his helmet. Authorities said he will be OK.

A second motorcyclist was also struck by gunfire. Emergency crews from the Riverside Fire Department provided immediate medical aid and transported the victim to the Riverside Community Hospital, where he later died from his injuries, police said.

The coroner’s office later identified him as James Duty, 31, of Orange.

After the shooting, the suspect got back in the passenger side of the sedan and the car fled westbound on the 91 Freeway.

Police are still trying to figure out why the gunman opened fire. Police do not have a description of the shooter.

“Right now, we don’t know what the motive is. We are confident that these five had some type of affiliation with the Hells Angels motorcycle gang, but we’re looking into where they were at. Was there some type of problem earlier? We don’t know that yet,” said Officer Ryan Railsback with Riverside police.

Investigators have collected surveillance video from the gas station but have yet to release the footage to the public.

Detectives from the Robbery-Homicide Unit and the Gang Intelligence Unit were investigating the incident.

WATCH: SOOKE RCMP ASK FOR THE PUBLIC’S HELP AFTER CONFIRMING HELLS ANGELS PROSPECT WAS THE VICTIM OF A HOMICIDE

Sooke RCMP confirm Mike Widner victim of homicide

Sooke RCMP are making a plea for witnesses to come forward, after confirming that 39-year-old Michael Gregory Widner was the victim of a homicide.

“This was not a random act and there’s no cause for concern to any of the public,” says Sooke RCMP S/Sgt. Jeff McArthur.

Widner’s body was found by a hiker along the Pacific Marine Route a few kilometers from Port Renfrew on Friday.

RCMP says the Sooke man and Hells Angels prospect was well-known to them.

The father of two had been the subject of numerous investigations and was on their radar again at the time of his death.

“We were well aware of Mr. Widner’s involvement with organized crime, well aware that he was a prospect for the Nanaimo Hells Angels and as a result he had our full attention here,” S/Sgt. McArthur explains.

The victim’s vehicle was found in the parking lot of William Simmons Park by Poirier Lake off Otter Point Road.

Police believe he had a meeting there Wednesday, March 8th around 8 pm and they’re now investigating whether that’s linked to his death.

RCMP and the Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit (VIIMCU) spent several hours questioning motorists by the park, looking for people who might go by there on Wednesdays and might have seen something.

“As a result we generated some information but need more,” says S/Sgt. McArthur. “Anyone who may have seen something or heard something or vehicles in that area.”

The investigation into Widner, and his organized crime links, comes as police in B.C. step up their efforts to shutdown gang activity — part of a $30 million gangs and guns strategy launched last year.

“Dozens of shootings have been prevented, dozens of homicides have been prevented,” says public safety minister Mike Morris. “There will be people charged as a result of the activity. We are making progress.”

Millions of dollars in drugs from organized crime were taken off the streets last year alone.

But officials say a lot more work still needs to be done.

“The numbers are coming down and I’m going to continue to ensure that those number do keep coming down,” Morris told CHEK News.

Anyone with information about the Widner case is asked to call the VIIMCU at 250-380-6211  or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

BRUTAL MOTORCYCLE CRASH – DRIVER TURNS WITHOUT LOOKING AND DESTROYS TWO RIDERS

When you choose a motorcycle as your method of getting around, you leave yourself exposed to anything that a car would be exposed to except with less protection.

Regardless of if an accident is your fault or not, the amount that it’s going hurt remains the same and we’ve seen some crashes get pretty ugly.

This time, we catch up with a couple of riders who are out and about, when all of a sudden, a car pulls out in their path and it’s immediately game over.

The bikes stop on a dime and self-destruct, sending the riders flying. Luckily, it would appear as if the riders were strapped up with some decent safety equipment and, as a result, wouldn’t suffer any life-threatening injuries. One, however, would suffer a broken leg and the other, a broken pelvis.

THE FUTURE OF HARLEY-DAVIDSON IS SHOCKING, LITERALLY

They say never change a winning horse, but we all know that at one point that winning horse will grow old and somebody needs to take its place, and this time it is the Harley Davidson from the future that is trying to show us what will be the next “new horse”.

According to the company, they are not only giving us one, instead in the next 10 years, there will be about 100 new bikes developed, and a few of them will be getting their power from batteries instead of a gas tanks.

As we all know, electric powered motors reach peak torque at 0 revolutions per minute, which makes them incredibly fast off the line, and to prove this we have the new production car record holder the Tesla S P100D which is faster than the incredibly expensive Ferrari LaFerrari.

At the moment, we do not know too much about the future Harley Davidson but we know it is capable of storing about 7KWh of power, and will be powered by a motor with 55 KW of power, or about 75 horsepower but after watching the video we say, shut up and take our money.

Check out the video and tell us, would you ride a silent electric bike, or would you just miss the “noise” too much?

AMERICAN CHOPPER: JR. VS. SR. FIGHT STAGED?

AMERICAN CHOPPER: JR. VS. SR. FIGHT STAGED?

I think that, at this point in entertainment culture, we have come to expect certain things to be true, one of those things being that maybe, with what we see on the screen, no matter what the format, the truth has a tendency to get stretched just a little bit.

Now, I’m not sure if that’s the case here or not, but for this YouTube uploader, they seem to think that they have found a couple of things on an episode of American Chopper that lean toward indicating that maybe, a couple of the flights on the show could have been staged. I’m not sure that you should really be convinced with this little bit of evidence but it’s always something that’s in the back of your mind.

Check out the video below that offers up information that might indicate that shome of the things that you have seen on the show have been guided just a little bit to get that ultimate shot for the television cameras. Be sure to tell us what you think of these circumstances.
