Fake homeless woman caught red handed and arrested with felony charges

A despicable woman was caught posing as a homeless woman begging for handouts at an intersection near a McDonald’s parking lot in Richomnd, Virginia. She had been seen scamming drivers all over Richmond and one man was tired of it.

The man behind the camera had seen her before begging for money before driving off in a brand new 2016 Fiat 500X Easy.

In the video below he confronts her and asks what she’s doing. Her cardboard sign says that she’s homeless, but she quickly changes her story and claims to be disabled. She declined to comment on the nature of her disability, but it clearly isn’t physical as she has no problem jogging up and down the road to pester drivers for spare change. When people refused, she would often become aggressive and scream obscenities at them.

The fraud walks up to a McDonald’s drive through window to ask for help, but the man with a camera persists with his questions until she threatens to kill him.

The video below went viral almost immediately and viewers througout the Richmond area immediately recognized the woman. “I’ve been complaining about this woman for months!” writes one viewer. “I salute you for exposing this scumbag! I pass by her pretty much every day at glenside and broad street. I’ve seen her drive a green Nissan xterra SUV down to the Intersection with her dog in the car begging for money. Good job!”

According to Maryland’s MVA records, her Fiat was purchased new and she appears to be the original owner.

UPDATE: The woman was arrested yesterday, May 22, for creating a “disorderly situation” and throwing Gatorade bottles at moving cars near the corner of West Broad Street and Gaskins Road.

Henrico Police Lt. Richard Cosby released the following statement:

Upon arrival the officers located the female complainant in the parking lot near the IHOP restaurant. The complainant advised officers that while standing in the median, several people began harassing her and videotaping her. While speaking with the complainant, the officers were approached by another woman who told officers that the subject they were talking with had thrown items at their cars while in the parking lot, and that the incident had been videotaped, which was subsequently shared with the officers.”

The woman has been identified by police as 40-year-old Micha Leigh Dominguez. She has been arrested and charged with three felony counts of “throwing a missile at a moving vehicle,” a violation of Virginia Statute 18.2-154.
